The Urban Farmhouse - Main Floor Is On

Good morning everyone. We have the latest and greatest status update from Rhonda, our amazing, brain-fried contractor.

Rhonda's first time walking in the house!! October 6, 2015
Framing - Main floor is on!  Woohoo! - Framers plan on having first floor of the living area along with second floor  completed by Friday.  They will be gone for approx 2 weeks and then back the last week in October to finish the rest.

First load of lumber was delivered on Monday, October 5, 2015.
Power is run to the Pedestal! - Electrician is going to work on getting temp power set up, hoping to have it energized this week.  He will let me know.  He also plans on trenching the power over to the house as soon as he lines up the trencher.

As of this morning the rest of the floor went on and walls started going up! October 7, 2015
Foundation - They were able to get all the fill dirt they needed but it was very wet so they had to delay, then it rained Saturday making it nice and wet again.  Once that has dried up enough they will finish up.  They need to complete the pool piles and grade beam along with veranda piles.

Plumbing - He is planning on starting to rough in the plumbing in the basement next week  He is also going to install a temporary sump pump so that we can keep that space dry for everyone.

This lumber was reserved just for us! Hard to believe it's all happening!!
Gas - As soon as I call in the site ready SaskEnergy will put us in the queue. To be site ready I need to move some of the fill dirt out of the way for the trench (foundation guys will do this) and have the meter board installed (framers will have this in place).

Materials - Trusses are ordered and are going to be delivered October 22.  Windows are ordered and are going to be delivered October 27.

The septic and water line work will also begin next week.

Okay, I think this is all.

So far I still have all my hair!
