We are so excited because we can finally get this building ball rolling!!

It all happened pretty quickly. The couple phoned on Sunday morning asking to see the house in the afternoon, they loved it, put in an offer, we accepted and signed papers (with no conditions) a few hours later.

They take possession on July 24 so starting next week, we'll be packing up our house contents, moving some to the sea can at the land and the items we'll need to use will be going into the rental.

See that cute, tiny little house in the middle? That will be our home sweet home while the house is being built. It's a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom house (with a 2nd bedroom being built in fall) and even though it's small, it's a million times better than living in a camper, which was the original plan. We are very excited!! We have met the neighbors on both sides and they seems super nice. One couple has boy/girl twins who are 3 1/2 and Brielle has already played with them. Always great to have friends nearby. 8th Street is within walking distance, as is the Churchill Shopping Center on the corner of Clarence & Taylor. And the big bonus is Brielle will be super close to her daddy who is only 4 blocks away!

Cheers to the building adventures ahead!! We are one step closer to our Urban Farmhouse dreams!!
