Pics From Mexico

For those not on Facebook, I thought I'd share some pics from our vacation. Enjoy!!

Painted baby toes for the big trip!! Too cute. Downfall with the Piggy Polish brand is it washes off in water and wears off in socks. It didn't last long and we had to repaint a couple of times. By day 3, we gave up.

Someone did so well on the flight up. A bit of fussing but nothing really. She was not happy on the way home. Outright crying for a bit but then she slept for about 2 1/2 hours, which was great. I think she didn't want to leave Mexico. Neither did we.



On our balcony the first day we got there. Wonderful resort! Wonderful room! 1 bedroom with its own bath, livingroom, dining area, full kitchen, main bathroom and balcony that had access from livingroom and bedroom.

 

The beach was very nice on resort...and big. And the water was quite nice, with no rocks. Great for swimming and boogie boarders.

 

Brielle sure loves to stand and she's getting better at doing it for long periods at a time. She also loved being barefoot in Mexico. We all did!!

Brielle & I in the water. The pool looks so dark because it has the stone finish and not the ceramic tile finish. This pool was much warmer than the main pool, which has the tile.

Swimming! And she's a good little swimmer for 7 months. I would really like to get her into swimming lessons though. We could learn so much.

We brought this floaty for her and it worked great. The part she sits in is mesh so it was comfortable, plus she could play with toys while in it and not lose them in the pool.

And when she wasn't swimming, she was happy to play and lounge between our chairs, on a towel, with her toys.

She fell asleep on Rhonda one afternoon so we put her on a towel on the ground and boy did we get some dirty looks from some women sitting near us. Haha But whatever. She had a really good nap like that.

Rhonda & I at the entrance to our resort. It wasn't very big and just past this is the Paradise Plaza (mall) that belongs to the resort. Great location for shopping and there is even a grocery store.

Getting ready to go swimming.....again! She's such a water baby. Too bad we didn't live close to water....and the bathtub doesn't count.

Us getting ready to head for supper. Each evening the resort has a theme night and pretty much all meals are outdoors, which we really like. There is always live music of some sort and often games, bull riding, dancing, etc. So much fun!!

And when you don't have a high chair, you tie your baby to the chair with a receiving blanket. Worked great!

Rhonda & I at the golf course. No, we didn't golf but we took the shuttle there to walk to our resorts zoo which was nearby. The golf course was gorgeous. The zoo, not worth it.

Look at this smiling face and times it by 10. That's what she'd do to anyone passing by. She's such a social butterfly and with her cuteness alone, she'd reel just about everyone into coming over to her and talking to her. I swear she met at least 75% or more of the people on resort....plus those when we were off resort at the mall.

She got this hat from her Great Grandma Fitzsimonds for Christmas. Everyone who met her with that hat said she looked like a little train conductor, so that's what they'd refer to her from then on. Haha

It was hazy one morning when we were sitting on the beach, but a great time for photos. I got a ton of them.

Going for a stroll on the beach. We could walk for a long ways and Brielle loved it. Also love the stroller we chose. It works awesome in the sand. Can't say that about many strollers.

Tried to take our own sunset pic but we're kind of dark. Oh well, silhouettes are cool too.
