1st Birthday Wishes For Our Baby Girl

In the blink of an eye, you are a year old!

They told us it would go fast, but we never realized it would go this fast.

I don't think either of us, your mommies, realized how much you would change our lives.
It took a long time for us to decide to have you, but once you were here, we knew that you were worth the wait.
You are our dream come true!
You have filled a hole in our heart that we didn't even realize was there.
Finally, we are complete. We are a family.
You were the missing piece and now we are whole.

Today, on your birthday, we wish you everything your little heart desires.
We wish you happiness, love, kindness, courage and strength.
We wish you peace from within and fire to reach beyond the stars.
And most of all, we wish you to be who you will grow to be. Always be you. Always follow your heart. Always follow your dreams.

We hope you always know that we are here for you. We will laugh with you, cry with you, wipe away your tears, guide you as you grow into a little lady and always encourage you to be the best that you can be.
We won't always see eye to eye. We will annoy each other. We will clash. But no matter what, little one, we will always show our love.

Brielle is a lucky girl because she shares her Birthday with her Grandma Janis. Happy Birthday Grandma!!! Brielle also shares her birthday, this year, on Father's Day. What a lucky girl to share the day with two people who love her so much.  

Not a day goes by where we aren't grateful for Brielle's daddy. Without him, we wouldn't have this sweet, precious baby girl. What a kind, selfless act. For this, we could never re-pay him.

I am excited about our future together. Truly, our family goes beyond Rhonda, Brielle & myself. We have two great men in our lives and for that, we are blessed and enriched. Dean may not live in our home and participate in the day to day activities but he is still important to our family, and especially to Brielle. Having a daddy in her life and her future means so much more than just diaper changes. As she gets older, it's nice to see how she is forming a bond with her daddy, and him with her. Really, how could our family get any better than this?
