Things have most definitely changed and there is no denying that there's a baby in there!!
While mommies belly is definitely growing, baby girl is doing some growing of her own. At 23 weeks, she is now at an age where if she were to be born, she could survive and continue to grow outside of the womb. I found this photo online of a baby born at 23 weeks. Amazingly this baby girl survived!! Check out the wedding ring on her arm!
Little Josie Duggar (from 19 Kids & Counting) was born at 25 weeks and weighed in at 1.6 pounds. Today she is a happy 2 year old. But, while babies do have a chance to survive at this young of an age, we most definitely don't want our baby to come that early!!
Baby girl is about 11 inches long and weighs over a pound now. She will continue to gain approximately 6 ounces a week which will really help to fatten her up and fill out her skin. Her skin is still transparent but this will start to disappear soon since pigment is forming. She can hear well now and once born, will be used to sounds she's been hearing while in her mommies belly such as the sound of our voices, the dogs barking, the vacuum cleaner, etc. Only about 116 days to go!!
